Ed Levin Park Cemetery
The cemetery is now closed, but even in the daytime, electronics will shut off, start on own, loud moans can be heard, flashes of lights and car problems. Very cold in spots.
Empty Lot next to Arco on Abbott
Whole area is large, ancient burial ground for maybe hundreds of people who all died suddenly and were stacked like cordwood in this make-shift cemetery. Did they die from an epidemic or attack? No one knows. The City inspectors have some information about this, as they prevent further development in that area.
In 1981 a Milpitas High School student killed his girlfriend, then brought his buddies to see the body. No one told the cops. We’d prefer to forget this crime, but it was made into a movie in 1987. Our “river” here being but that small creek that runs along side of Calaveras Blvd. The film was made up on the American River.
Advice and Tips
Northern California Haunters
Each month, normally on the third Saturday of the month, a member will volunteer to host the meeting at their house (or workshop in some cases) and they or another member will volunteer to teach the ‘Make-n-Take’ leaving everyone with a working item and the knowledge of how to do it again!
Our cookbook is filling up quickly with recipes for pumpkins of course. Please contribute your favorite recipe. And, don’t forget to tell others about our recipes!
