Who Can Register to Vote?

Paper registration forms are available at the Registrar of Voters Office, U.S. Post Offices, Public Libraries, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and other government offices. Signed & completed forms must be returned in person or by mail to one of the following locations. They cannot be faxed or e-mailed.

For the 2020 General Election, every registered voter has been mailed a ballot, and sometimes a second one. Only return one and destroy the other. While you MAY mail in the ballot for free, some are concerned that the Post Office may not be to handle the deluge of ballots, some may wish to use drop off boxes. The following directions were for pre-Covid19 voting for currently registered voters wishing to change to mail-in voting. This would now only apply to those new to the city and county.

  2. Request must be received at least 7 days before the election (postmarks not accepted)
