Transportation Fund for Clean Air
TFCA's goal is to implement the most cost-effective projects
in the Bay Area that will decrease motor vehicle emissions, and
therefore improve air quality. Projects must be consistent with
the 1988 California Clean Air Act and the Bay Area Clean Air
Plan.
Vehicle Buy Back Program
To reduce air pollution, the Bay Area Air Quality Management
District (Air District) will pay $500 for an operating and registered
1981 and earlier model year vehicle. Pick Your Part notified the Air District that it was no longer accepting vehicles under the Vehicle Buy Back program at their Milpitas and other locations.
