The Lend-A-Tool Shed
No longer available on weekends.
(Who came up with THAT bright idea?) Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
by appointment only for pick up and return of tools
Milpitas residents, businesses, property owners, and community groups are able to borrow select tools from the available inventory for free. A wide variety of hand and gardening tools are available for temporary use. There are no power tools. For those, visit Home Depot. Follow these 2 simple steps to select and borrow tools:

  1. Complete and submit our online request form: Tools Request Form(the included Liability Waiver (PDF) must be digitally signed and submitted with the request form).
  2. Call 408-586-2600 to schedule a pick up time.
  3. Return the tools within 2 weeks or otherwise risk suspension of borrowing rights.
