Now, for the first time ever, the senior center’s opening its doors on Saturdays, from 9am-12pm. The move is part of a new Pilot Program, which the majority of the Milpitas City Council voted to launch during a meeting in January.
(a) 65 years of age or older on or before June 30 of the fiscal year immediately preceding the year in which the tax would apply, or
(b) receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) for a disability, regardless of age, or
(c) property owners who own parcels that are contiguous and held under identical ownership**
may obtain an exemption from the parcel tax by submitting an application, by June 15 of any year, to the District.

Programs for all young men and women aged 11 to 20 who are registered with the Boy Scouts of America. Our programs have developed within the Stanislaus National Forest for over 50 years.
Chesebrough Scout Reservation
Also called Camp Chesebrough is a 544 acre (2.2 km?) Boy Scout camp in the Santa Cruz Mountains of Santa Cruz and San Mateo counties, California. The camp is owned by the Memorial Foundation of the Santa Clara County Council, and is used year round.

Meets just south of the Milpitas border in San Jose at the Milpitas Christian School.
Cub Scout Pack 163
We work closely with our Boy Scouts Troop 163 to serve the students of John Sinnott Elementary School, Alexander Rose Elementary School and Marshall Pomeroy Elementary School and the surrounding communities. Students from any school are welcome. In fact, we currently have students from Sinnott, Rose, Majestic Way, Orchard, Brooktree, Challenger Berryessa and Milpitas Christian School.
Milpitas Troop 164
Troop 164 meets from 7:00 to 8:30 PM every Thursday at Christ Community Church of Milpitas, 1000 South Park Victoria Drive, Milpitas, California.
Mount Olive Ministries Monday Night Scouts
Mount Olive serves as charter partner to three Boy Scout Units and host several Girl Scout Units all at the same time on Monday nights. This allows a family with multiple children to take advantage of “one stop Scouting.”
