Calaveras – Sierra Rd Loop
We had some snow over the night of January 27-28, 2002, so on the 29th, after the roads were sanded and clear, my son, Scott and I drove up in to the hills above Milpitas and San Jose to get a closer look. We took Piedmont Rd. to Calaveras. Turned right on Felter and went on up into the hills, and then back down again on Sierra Rd. to Piedmont in San Jose once again. It was about an 18 mile drive. “How come you’re late?” asks the principal as the teacher walks in the door of Milpitas High School. “It was awful,” she explains. “I was walking down Escuela Parkway and there was this terrible accident. A student was lying in the middle of the street; he was thrown from his car. His leg was broken, his skull was fractured, and there was blood everywhere. Great Mall was looted last night. from r/SanJose Last Call Neiman Marcus Outlet Store Looted Saturday night, May 31, 2020 This evening at about 7:30 PM, Milpitas Police Department Officers responded to a burglary alarm at Nieman Marcus, located at the Great Mall. Officers arrived quickly and encountered a large group of people running from the store. It was estimated that there were approximately 100 people and 50 cars involved in this coordinated burglary of Neiman Marcus.
